About Roger Clarke
Roger Clarke discovered his love for oil painting at the age of 13 having found some paints in his family garage, from there it quickly became a vocation and his school years were spent doing nothing else, The Art room became his home. After time spent at the Cardiff School of Art, courting favour from the Slade School and selling work throughout his teenage years, he dropped away from the art form and became increasingly more interested in the London lifestyle and photography, but it was to Oil Painting that he would always return. Although it wasn't until a serious back injury in 2017 that a full time career as a Fine Artist would materialise.
